Cast Pewter Terrets

Harness Terrets are used on the "saddle" or surcingle/"belly band" portion of the harness. The reins are threaded through them to keep them in the proper position for driving.

Etched Metal Terrets

Harness Terrets are used on the "saddle" or surcingle/"belly band" portion of the harness. The reins are threaded through them to keep them in the proper position for driving.

These etched terrets are fastened by poking two matching holes for the "legs" in your leather. Thread the "legs" through the baseplate, and then push the "legs" through the holes in the leather. Bend the legs under to secure the terret in place, and glue a layer of skiver under the surcingle to "sandwich" the legs between the layers and protect the model.

Available for rein straps in 3/32" (2.5mm) and 1/8" (3mm) widths.

Trace Adjustor Buckles

Trace Buckles are used to adjust the length of the traces on a harness.

The width noted is for the main trace strap. The loops for the other straps (top and bottom) are approximately a size smaller. (Ex.: 3/16" Trace buckle will have loops that are 1/8" wide on top and bottom).
