Miniature 1/8" and 3/32" studs (or spots) you can attach to tack items for decoration! Available in flat and domed styles, these can be added to saddles, breastcollars, harnesses and even strap goods like bridles.
Choose between star, and round flat-topped or domed styles, and with 4 short prongs, or two long prongs (star studs have 5 short prongs). Available in silver and gold color (except ST647g, which are bare brass).
To attach on top of leather, gently press the stud onto the leather where you want it so the prongs leave an indent in the leather. Use the tip of a hobby knife to cut a tiny slit where each prong should go. Then press the prongs through the slits. Bend the prongs over carefully with a tool such as a needle-nosed pliers. To avoid marring the top of the stud, place a little piece of scrap leather between the head of the stud and the pliers when crimping.
The tiny 3/32" size can be difficult to work with... tweezers are recommended to hold them for placement.
You can "nip off" the prongs and attach the studs with glue also (however, this is not as secure.) If you have trouble dealing with all 4 prongs, you can nip 2 of them off and just use two prongs to attach instead.
NOTES:
The 2-pronged studs are made of heavier metal, and are a little harder to trim/bend than the other styles.
The grid lines shown in the images are .05" apart, twenty squares to the inch.

Use the short-pronged studs as a decorative "crimp" on strap goods.
Shown on 1/16" lace.
Use the long-pronged studs as a decorative "slider"; useful for browbands, adjustable buckle straps, etc.
Shown on 3/32" lace.
Short-pronged studs can be used to decorate strap goods such as bridles, reins and more.
Shown on 3/32" lace.
Mounting 4-prong studs on wider 1/8" lace may require different techniques. Two opposing prongs can be cut off and the stubs filed flush, or simply bent under.
The studs with two longer prongs fit 1/8" lace just fine.
On laces wider than 1/8", the studs should be attached by pushing the prongs through the leather.
Sample below shows studs attached to 1/8" leather.
