Notes from the Artist:
Always a fan of duns and buckskins, I wanted to try to paint a nicely shaded red dun with primitive markings. Shown is one of two first attempts, both of which turned out a little darker than I had envisioned. The other one is now known as "Por Gratis", to be given away via drawing through The Peter Stone Co.'s newsletter Equilith.
While the white markings varied between the two versions, the body color is very similar. The photo on the cover of Equilith shows this color darker and redder than it
actually is.
