Notes from the Artist:
While at the factory viewing Dunits being painted, I was inspired to paint a version that had a little "warmer" color, and take some time with the leg barring. Having spent a small amount of time with the actual horse, I wanted to try my hand at painting this color with a little more depth and shading.
As a result, I ended up painting a series of four copies to try to get it "just right", two copies of which remained at the Stone Factory, and one copy was presented to Definitly A Dunit's owners, Jerry and Burla Stutzman.
